Ways to Enjoy Campfire Cookie Mix

Our new Campfire Cookie Mix from Pastry Chef Laurence Faber is inspired by a dessert he created at The Barn at Blackberry Farm®. Thinking about Fall nights around a campfire, Laurence created this delicious mix to share a warm, sweet bite to warm up cool evenings. It’s ready to enjoy right out of the oven, but take it one step further and try out a few ways to mix up your cookie mix!

Sandwich Your S’mores!

Laurence created these cookies with the idea that they be used as the outside of your s’mores! Grab your marshmallows and chocolate, and bring a whole new flavor to your favorite campfire treat. Grab two cookies, place your chocolate and finish with a fire-roasted marshmallow.

Cookie Crumbles

Another perfect pairing for this cookie – ice cream! Scoop your favorite flavor into a bowl and crumble freshly baked campfire cookies on top for added flavor and texture. Finish with whipped cream if you like!

Add Ingredients

The mix is yummy as is, but we love having fun and experimenting in the kitchen. So, try throwing in your favorite nuts or even dried fruit like cranberries to switch up the mix and play with the flavor.

Cast Iron Blondie

You can bake the mix in a cast iron (or Pyrex) dish and make a blondie! This will need to cook longer than making traditional cookies. All home ovens are different, so make sure to use a toothpick to check for doneness. Insert the toothpick in the center and make sure no wet batter sticks when removing to check that it’s fully cooked. You can have fun with toppings! Roast marshmallows over the stove and drizzle with chocolate sauce for a nod to s’mores, top with caramel sauce or finish with fresh fruit.
