Camp Blackberry Bunny Planter

Easter is on its way, and to celebrate, our youngest guests are creating festive bunny plant pots at Camp Blackberry. Join in the fun and make your own Easter planter at home! With adult supervision, hop on your Easter craft journey with this fun and interactive project, perfect for all ages.

Supplies needed:

• Small to medium terra cotta plant pot(s)
• Favorite Spring colored foam sheets, pom-poms, pipe cleaners, markers and other decorative items
• Paint brushes of various sizes
• Hot glue gun and hot glue sticks

Directions:

1. Center your terra cotta plant pot in front of you, and grab any decorative items you’d like to use to help your bunny come to life.
2. Select your favorite color, or the color you want to use for a base, and begin painting your pot.
3. While your pot is drying, begin cutting and arranging your smaller pieces to create ears, whiskers, a tail and any other bunny features you’d like.
4. With help from an adult, hot glue your pieces together. When your pot is fully dried, arrange accordingly and glue your ears, tail, etc. into place. You can draw a face for your bunny or use your art supplies to create a 3D face.
5. You can keep your bunny simple or add as many extra details as you’d like!

From your favorite candy to a pretty Spring flower, fill your Easter bunny pot with anything you’d love to display!
