The Mountain’s newest experience is waiting for you! Arbor Adventure, the Mountain’s treetop course, will have you traversing from rock-strewn slopes through the sturdy canopies of the trees that cover the mountainside. You will snake your way along trails of wood, rope and vines, and enjoy a true bird’s-eye view from three custom-built tree houses. With 26 exciting elements, including Tyrolean traverses, you will glide through the trees and above a scenic mountain stream.
The Arbor Adventure’s platforms, elements and tree houses are all built into and around the native trees of Chilhowee Mountain. A unique design element to the course is the giant acorn treehouse built around a Scarlet Oak tree and modeled after the Chestnut Oak acorn, one of the largest in the woods of Blackberry Mountain. Climb inside the acorn and move through it as you advance to new parts of the course. A swinging teeter totter, hanging seesaws and swinging bridge are only a few elements that will test your balance while putting a smile on your face as you make your way through the Arbor Adventure.
