Veggie Shots
When the after-school hunger pain strikes, whip up this healthy snack. This single-serving approach to eating vegetables makes it easy for kids to help themselves and keeps the dips fresh and cold. "Good for you" can also taste really good! Kids will love preparing (and eating). In a kid's world, dipping is a preferred mode of dining, and fresh vegetables and dips will satisfy hungry mouths.
Simply add dollops of dip to the bottoms of small, clear glass cups or Mason jars. Fill them with veggies (you can arrange by color or you can mix them to your liking), and place them in a tray or bucket of ice. A side benefit: Everyone can feel free to double-dip.
