The Right Wine

From a simple meal with friends to a formal dinner party, bringing a bottle of wine is the perfect gesture. See what our sommeliers reach for when they’reheaded to a gathering.

My go-to is a grenache. They have great flavor and will pair with anything.
Andy Chabot, Director of Food and Beverage

I like to bring champagne or a sparkling wine. It feels celebratory for the occasion, and everyone loves the cork pop.
Logan Griffin, Dining Room Manager

My picks are usually subject to my mood or thirst at the time. The country that I almost always choose from is Spain. There are a wide berth of interestingwines to fit in at any point in the meal – a fun white Cava, Albrino or Godello to start the night and a Rioja or a Priorat to go along with the entreealways fit the menu. After the meal, Ribera del Duro always hits the spot.
– Jason Drotar, Sommelier

I usually opt for champagne. Everyone is happy when they're drinking champagne!
Kelly Schmidt, Main House Captain

One thing they all agree on - you can't beat a quality corkscrew. A good wine key will last a long time, and it makes a great gift.
