Summer of Riesling
We cannot think of a better grape to celebrate this Summer than Riesling! Light with a touch of acidity, and varying degrees of dryness and fruit, perfect for sipping or pairing, this varietal is being celebrated all over the East Coast this Summer, and we didn't want to miss out. Summer of Riesling actually started in New York four years ago in Paul Greico’s Terroir Wine Bar in the East Village as a single-minded attempt to get guests to at least try the noble grape. So, throughout the entire Summer (all 94 days) they poured only Riesling by the glass as their white wine offering. Not only did they teach hundreds of city folk about the grape and its variety of nuisances, but they started something big! Blackberry Farm is excited to be one of a select group of restaurants to participate in paying our respects to the grape, and we hope you will join us.
