Spring Cleaning
March is all about Spring Cleaning around my house. My usual method for cleaning is, “If I haven’t used it or worn it over the last 12 months, out it goes!” But with our wine cellar, I feel differently. This is a great season to pull some bottles out of your cellar that you haven’t thought about in a year! Maybe it’s a varietal that you stopped drinking for some reason (Cabernet Sauvignon for me) that you need to revisit. Maybe it’s a producer that you were excited about at one point and then the next thing came along and you left a few bottles of their wines in your cellar collecting dust. Bring them out, brush them off and have an early season garden party! This will make more space for this year’s finds and it’s a great way to relax after a day of Spring Cleaning.
