Smoke Signals
We juiced Meyer lemons and turned that juice into a simple syrup of two parts sugar, one part juice. Then we wood grilled the lemon peels and infused theminto vodka.
To create this cocktail:
2 oz. of the lemon peel infused vodka
1 oz. lemon juice
½ oz. of the Meyer lemon simple syrup
A pinch of salt
The flavor is citrusy and fresh with a cool, smoky hint. It is equally sour and sweet yielding the perfect Spring sip.
