Rye Royale from the Dogwood

The Rye Royale cocktail from the Dogwood is a play on an Old Fashioned and a Whiskey Sour. The citrus notes and rye whiskey kick make this a perfect drinkfor sipping through the season change.

Muddle a lemon wheel with 2 bar spoons of demerara sugar and 2 dashes of Fee Brothers Lemon Bitters.
Add 1oz of house made chartreuse. We make chartreuse in house, but any green chartreuse will work for this recipe.
2oz of E.H. Taylor Rye – or any good rye whiskey.

Shake all ingredients until cold.
Strain into martini or coupe.
Garnish with a rye cherry. We make our own at the Farm, but a Luxardo cherry is a good substitute.
