Reflect and Move Forward

With the end of 2021, we are all welcoming in the energy of a new year. In this space of transition, it’s a useful exercise to set aside time to review what we experienced last year. Reflecting on the year past allows us to acknowledge and honor what we’ve been through, what we have learned, and how we can take those lessons with us into the new year to support us as our path evolves.

As a natural pause point, reflection provides us with closure for the past and gives us space to move into the future. So, begin a new chapter and create what you want in this new year. Your future is yours to dream and accomplish! If you need some guidance about reflecting on this past year, try beginning by asking yourself these questions. Journal your answers, talk about them with a trusted partner, or simply think about them.

What happened in my personal journey during the year?

What did I learn from these events?

What do I want to leave behind?

Where did I succeed?

Where do I feel like I failed?

What did I enjoy the most?

What will I do differently in this new year?

Give yourself time to think about each question, and when you are ready to move on, leave any negativity or worry attached to that question in the past year. Take a deep breath, and open yourself up to inviting in positive energy and forward movement. Welcome to another year of possibility!
