Not all salt is created equal, and for most people, the right type of salt and electrolyte balance promotes optimal health.

Standard table salt has been processed to only include sodium and chloride, often with additives and preservatives, and it’s missing the 80+ trace minerals that other forms of salt can provide. Sea salt, Himalayan salt, and Celtic salt are all mineral-rich salts that help create a balanced state.

All of the natural salts provide sodium, potassium and trace minerals that promote hydration as well as electrolyte balance that prevents muscle cramping and tones the nervous system. With real salts, you’ll have less bloating too. Sodium retains water while potassium helps release it. When you think of real salt, think regulation of all body processes. In moderation, including natural salts may even help reduce inflammation.
