Paint by the Glass

What better way to enjoy the beautiful Blackberry Farm scenery than painting it onto a personal canvas? Get in touch with your artistic side on the Farmthis Summer with a new acrylic painting class. Available for kids, families and adults, the result is a one-of-a-kind keepsake to commemorate your stay.

Local artists Alyson Cannon and Polly Ann Martin are joining Camp Blackberry Manager Miranda Hill to guide guests through the step-by-step activity. Thegroup can collectively choose between an abstract, landscape or still life painting, and the instructor will guide you through easy-to-follow phases tobring the painting to life.

Adults can sign up for a “Painting by the Glass” group class which includes the two hour lesson along with your choice of red or white wine. Sip, paintand connect with other guests in the warm Summer breeze of the Boathouse. For younger guests, “Youth Blackberry: Acrylic Painting” is a one and a halfhour class perfect for ages 10 and up.

Each painting will look different. That’s the beauty of art and Blackberry Farm – everyone gets to experience our incredible home in their own, specialway.
