Story
Orange and Rye
For many in East Tennessee, the month of September ushers in a new special air. There is a shift as the weekends are no longer about going to the pool or sleeping in. Growing up in Knoxville, September is all about “Football Time in Tennessee.” As a kid, going to a football game with my dad meant getting there at least three hours early to tailgate. There was always food, tents, games and drinks. This September, no matter what team you are cheering for, make sure you are prepared for your tailgate party with the Orange and Rye cocktail. The rye whiskey brings a fall quality to this drink while the refreshing, brightness of oranges keep it light. It is sure to win over even the most devoted lover’s of summer.
Orange and Rye Cocktail Recipe
