Meet the Mountain Team: Matt Poli
Mixologist Matt Poli joined the Blackberry Mountain team in May 2019. He is one of the creative mixologists behind the delicious cocktails that are enjoyed by guests during their stay. Prior to coming to the Mountain, Matt was the Beverage Director of The Catbird Seat restaurant in Nashville, TN. If you are thinking about enjoying a drink at Three Sisters during your stay, Matt serves a delicious drink with a very warm welcome!

What brought you to Blackberry Mountain?
Honestly, the legendary hospitality.
What is one thing that guests wouldn't know about you?
I have a deep love and knowledge of music.
How do you start your morning and end your day?
I start the day by stretching and thanking the universe for another day. Usually, I end it by reading in bed or sometimes scrolling through Reddit.
What is your favorite indoor/outdoor activity?
Definitely live concerts – indoor or outdoor.
What is your favorite Blackberry moment?
My favorite Blackberry moment has to be my initial “interview” with Brewery Managing Partner Roy Milner and the Brewery team. I got to experience the Blackberry Farm Brewery Taproom in Maryville and meet the president and executive vice president of Blackberry. Then, I got to tag along with Roy for a special event at New Belgium in Asheville, NC. Blackberry Farm Cheesemaker Chris Osborne joined us as well, and I got to taste his delicious cheeses in addition to drinking amazing Blackberry Farm Brewery beers.
