Johnny Red Corn

October 1, 2014

Chef Joseph Lenn is known all across the country for his unique take on classic dishes from different areas. One of my favorites is the chili-lime grilled corn that he makes during the Fall season. This cocktail is a representation of his dish in a glass. The moonshine gives you the richness of the corn. The lime juice and smoked allepo pepper syrup represent the citrus and spice. It is garnished with a charred lime wheel so that your senses make you feel as if your standing by the grill with Chef!

The Johnny Red Corn (Chilled Rocks Glass)
1 ½ oz. Troy and Sons Moonshine
1 oz. Lime Juice
½ oz. Smoked Aleppo Pepper Syrup
2 drops of Onion Vinegar
Stir in the tin and dump into a rocks glass
Garnish with a smoked lime wheel
