Make a small garden; even 3 flower pots will do. The work and satisfaction will take you outdoors, provoke your curiosity, and if all goes well, provide a meal to share.
Treat the first of every month like January 1 – an opportunity for a new beginning can be the most powerful tool in reaching and setting goals.
Play as often as possible with your family, the neighbor's kid, or your dog, it doesn't matter, but find ways to laugh and be playful more often.

Find Balance in your life’s priorities
List your priorities in order of most to least important. Follow them but also allow them to shift from time to time as needs truly dictate, but remember to go back to that original list.
Give yourself “you time” – for me, it’s during a run. I can detach from nearly everything and let my mind wander or focus only on my run. I don’t think about work, schedules, etc. I find it completely rejuvenating.
