Story
Drinking good wine with Friends
A special wine does not have to be grand or expensive – don’t misinterpret my meaning. Stories are what make wines special. What is the reason you chose to own a particular wine? Did you read about it? Did you bring it back from a favorite winery you visited? Do you know who the winemaker is? Any number of reasons can make a bottle special to you. It’s sharing that reason with your friends and letting them know why you wanted to share this bottle with them, that will make the wine special in that moment.
Live in the present and by doing so, make the past memorable. Share special wines now with your friends and family. There is not a better time.
Andy Chabot, Director of Food and Beverage
I don’t think of myself as a wine collector. My real joy in wine comes from sharing it with others. I’ve always loved the communal feel that comes from sharing good food and wine with friends. And I’m not alone; so much has happened around a dinner table throughout history, accompanied by food, wine and friends. Don’t waste these moments of yours waiting on another special occasion at some point in the undetermined future. When friends and family are kind enough to spend time with me, I love to share special wines with them. A moment is always elevated by a special wine.
