Join one of our artisans or chefs in preparation of a three-course midday meal inspired by the farm in the gambrel kitchen for the demonstration and lunch which will be accompanied by a glass of wine. Offering is seasonal.

Thursday and Saturday Demos – Join our Garden Manager, Jeff Ross, in the Garden for a rustic field to fork experience. Over an open wood fire or on the wood-burning stove, cook a hearty lunch of house-crafted meats and the freshest vegetables gathered just moments before. All while discovering the history and heritage of our Smoky Mountain home and its distinct foodways. (Held outdoors when weather permits.) Featured recipes: Crispy Okra Summer Salad and Fresh Fruit Clafoutis

Wednesday and Friday Demos – Join our Preservationist Shannon Walker with featured recipes: Skillet Fried Cornbread and Skillet Cobbler.

Tuesday Demo – Join cheesemaker Ryan Burger with featured recipes: Melon Gazpacho and Pickled Fruits.
