Cran & Tonic
‘Tis the season to be jolly! Get in the holiday spirit with a festive and fizzy drink. This eye-catching mocktail from the Main House will go perfectly with whatever menu or activities you have planned. The best part about this drink is that everyone can cheers to a happy holiday!
Ingredients
1.5 oz. cranberry juice
2 oz. fresh Anjou pear simple syrup
Fever-Tree tonic water
Rosemary sprig
Frozen cranberries
Add the ingredients to a shaker tin, and shake with ice. Strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass. Finish it off by topping with the tonic water and garnishing with a rosemary sprig and frozen cranberries.
Anjou pear simple syrup:
3 Anjou pears
4 cups of sugar
4 cups of water
Peel the skins from the pears in thick shred, retaining a good bit of the flesh from the inside. Muddle the skins in boiling water and let it sit covered for 30 minutes. Strain the skins out, and add the sugar, stirring until it is fully dissolved. Allow to cool before incorporating into a drink.
