Camp Blackberry Fun Facts
Camp Blackberry Fun Facts:
Each Day is a new adventure with themed days and activities.
While at Camp Blackberry, campers will spend the majority of their time outdoors.
Adventurers (8 and up) go rock climbing on a natural rock face at Blackberry Farm.
Camp Blackberry spends part of each day at the pool or in Hesse Creek.
At Camp Blackberry, we watch a movie outdoors each evening (weather permitting).
Spray paint art is a camper favorite!
Adventurers get to do a woodworking workshop building a log cabin, a birdhouse or a miniature wagon.
Explorers create their own boat and race it down Hesse Creek.
On culinary day, campers will make their own lunch and cook it over the fire.
At Camp Blackberry, campers get an opportunity to interact with all the animals on the farm.
This year, we are introducing “Adventure Hour” which is geared toward older campers and gives them an opportunity to feed their own interests.
Campers get to learn hand-building techniques during our Ceramics Workshop.

Summer is an exciting time of year at Blackberry Farm. You begin to hear laughs and squeals of excitement from children young and old. Whether it be from flying high into the Smokey Mountain Sky on the swing or stepping into the cool waters of Hesse Creek. This special time of year allows kids to truly step outside the box and just be kids. No homework, no practice, no chores, just Camp Blackberry. They will feed their sense of wonder, gain a desire for adventure, but most of all, they will play. At the core of Camp Blackberry, is a program designed for fun. Each day offers a new adventure and allows for discovering new passions. Children leave Camp Blackberry with big dreams and new ideas. Dreams such as becoming an artist, a chef, a gardener, or for most, just making it back to this special place year after year.
