Blood and Sand

With an amazing balance of rich fruit and smoke, this drink from The Barn at Blackberry Farm® is perfect for Fall. Blood and Sand is one of the few classic mixed drinks that incorporates Scotch whisky. The drink was named after a 1922 movie by the same title, Blood and Sand.

Ingredients:

¾ oz. Laphroaig 10-year scotch (Or another heavily peated scotch of your choice)

¾ oz. sweet vermouth

¾ oz. Heering Cherry Liqueur

¾ oz. orange juice

To make:

Shake all ingredients together and strain over a large ice cube in a rocks glass. Garnish with an orange wheel and enjoy. Cheers!
