A Tea for Calming

In addition to being delicious and a comforting part of your wellness ritual, tea offers an opportunity to target individual needs. Blackberry Mountain’s Holistic Health Specialist, Dr. Jill Beasley, loves to turn to herbal teas as a support and remedy. This month, she’s sharing a tea blend designed to soothe. Relax your energy and calm your nerves with this recommended herbal blend from Dr. Jill.

Lemon Balm and Chamomile Tea

Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis) is a power house of the mint family. Rich in volatile oils, lemon balm calms the nervous and digestive systems and has been historically used to help heal a broken heart.

Combined with chamomile (Matricaria recutita), lemon balm helps ease an upset stomach and acts as a mild sedative.
