George grew up in Queens, New York, where hisfather Ricardo introduced him to cycling. He quickly developed a passion forthe sport and excelled, winning 10 junior nationaltitles and two world medals prior to moving to theprofessional ranks and cycling’s top teams.During his 19-year professional career, Hincapie was regarded as the premierAmerican classics rider of his generation. He competed in a record 17 Ronde vanVlaanderen races and finished second at the grueling Paris-Roubaix, the best everfor any American. Beyond the classics he rode in the Tour de France 17 times andwon three US National Road Race championships.

Christian Vande Velde

Former Professional Cyclist

Christian Vande Velde has competed in almost everyimportant cycling event from the World Cup to allthree of the Grand Tours. Talented both on the roadand the track, Christian rode for the 2000 U.S. OlympicTrack Team in Sydney and for the 2008 U.S. OlympicRoad Team in Beijing. Christian now serves as acommentator for NBC Sports.
